Day 80: Grutas y Estatuas

Todays adventure started out with exploring the town a little, since we had time before the ride out to some nearby caves. We came upon lots of "oferendas", the little shrines for  Dia de los Muertos, a Church with some cool rock designs, and a curious little shop with tons of cool stuff in it, another Church, and more oferendas.

Then it was time to go to the Grutas (caves). It was really cool actually and the pictures don't capture the enormity and awesomeness of these caves. Honestly, just put it on your bucket list if you're an avid adventurer

And some horses on the side of the road. Oh, I miss the country!

After the caves, we (you guessed it) wandered some more!

While wandering, we found a lookout randomly on a street, and it was an AMAZING view! We also took a look inside the big Church. Then we went up to the big Christ Statue at the top of the hill. Again, the view was amazing. It was incredible to see Taxco at night. I've always loved this look of cities all lit up. And that ends day 2 in Taxco, and the 80th day in Mexico. Wow, does time fly when you are lovin' life like Crazy!
